The “scattered in silence” collection came after the events in Aleppo at the end of 2016. During this bombarment, the inhabitants of this city suffered an apparent Holocaust. The work carries the magnitude of the pain and injustice suffered by an entire people for the last seven years.
In this work (98 * 40 * 16 cm-bronze), Khaled tells the fate of many of his characters who called for freedom, people he knew personally, who were “In waiting” before 2011 then became “free of the ceremony”, and finally their fate in 2017 was ” Scattered in silence. “
This work is evidence of the massacre. It allows us not to forget those who remained to return and yell to the world to “Stand up!”.
